The Explore Overlander Light is an optional folding table and window guard for Explore Glazing gullwing and sliding windows on the Suzuki Jimny FJ (JB43).
It combines window protection with versatile mounting and storage options for expedition equipment.

The Overlander Light attaches directly to the Explore Glazing window frame without requiring drilling into the bodywork, preserving the vehicle’s original structure and preventing corrosion risks.
Its compact and integrated design maintains full functionality of the window.

Compatibility

• Compatible with Explore Glazing gullwing windows (aluminium and glass) and sliding windows for the Suzuki Jimny FJ (JB43).
  (Not compatible with OEM side windows.)

Construction

• The Explore Overlander Light is CNC-cut from a 5 mm thick aluminium plate and coated with a durable matte black powder coating (RAL 9005).
• It mounts onto the Explore Glazing window frame using integrated hinges and locking points without any modification to the bodywork.
• Removable and adjustable nylon straps with stainless steel hooks allow for variable opening angles or complete folding to maximise access.

• Airline rails (L-track)
  Set of 2 pieces, EN AW-6063 T66 aluminium, matte black powder coating (RAL 9005).
  Dimensions: 28 mm x 11 mm (W/H), hole diameter 20 mm, intermediate holes at 25 mm spacing.
  Includes stainless steel M5x8 mounting screws.

Installation

The Explore Overlander Light is supplied as a DIY mounting kit for direct attachment to Explore Glazing windows.

Installation requires:

• Ø 4.2 mm drill
• Ø 5.0 mm drill
• M5 thread tap
• Tamper-resistant Torx bit

The mounting kit is not included by default but is always offered in your quotation.
