Warranty Terms of Explore Glazing

1. Warranty period: Explore Glazing offers a 12-month warranty from the purchase date on the product. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
   
   
2. Coverage and certification of glass: The glass in our products meets legal requirements and is certified with E43R and DOT certificates. Glass breakage is not covered under the warranty.
   
   
3. Aluminum frame and finish: All aluminum parts are protected against corrosion and coated with an industrial powder coating in RAL 9005. This ensures additional durability and resistance to weathering.
   
   
4. Notification upon receipt: It is essential that any defects or damage to the product are reported immediately upon receipt. Damage noticed only after installation or due to improper storage cannot be clearly attributed to manufacturing defects. Such conditions make it difficult to assess warranty claims and may lead to the denial of the claim.
   
   
5. Cosmetic imperfections: Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the product's functionality are excluded from the warranty.
   
   
6. Warranty exclusions: Damage caused by accidents, improper use, modifications, repairs not performed by us, or damage from natural disasters are excluded from the warranty. Incorrect installation, not following our installation instructions, or outsourcing the installation are also excluded from the warranty.
   
   
7. Warranty claim procedure: To file a warranty claim, please send us a detailed description of the defect along with a copy of your invoice and an immediate notification upon receipt of the product within the warranty period.
   
   
8. Warranty service: If a defect in the aluminum frame is covered under the warranty, we will repair or replace the defective part. Customers are responsible for all related shipping costs. Costs for disassembly and assembly during a warranty claim are not covered by us.
   
   
9. Applicable law: Dutch law applies.

Explore Glazing is a member of the Koninklijke Metaalunie. The Metaalunie conditions of the Koninklijke Metaalunie apply to all contracts.
