Warranty Terms of Explore Glazing
1. Warranty period
Explore Glazing offers a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
The warranty does not provide a right to reimbursement or compensation, but covers repair or replacement of the defective part.
2. Coverage and certification of glass
The glass in our products meets legal requirements and is certified with E43R and DOT.
Glass breakage, including damage caused during installation or use, is not covered under the warranty.
3. Aluminum frame and finish
All aluminum components are corrosion-resistant and coated with an industrial RAL 9005 powder coating for extra durability and protection against weathering.
Discoloration or surface wear from normal outdoor exposure is not considered a defect.
4. Notification upon receipt
It is essential that any visible defects or transport damage are reported immediately upon receipt of the product.
Damage discovered only after installation or caused by improper storage cannot be reliably attributed to a manufacturing defect. In such cases, a warranty claim may be denied.
5. Cosmetic imperfections
Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the product’s function or safety are excluded from the warranty.
6. Warranty exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Accidents, improper use or handling
- Modifications or repairs not carried out by Explore Glazing
- Natural disasters or extreme weather conditions
- Incorrect installation or failure to follow our installation instructions
Installation performed by third parties is at the customer’s own risk and also excluded from warranty.
7. Warranty claim procedure
To file a warranty claim, please provide:
- A clear description of the issue
- A copy of your purchase invoice
- Immediate notification upon receipt if applicable
Claims must be submitted within the 12-month warranty period.
8. Warranty service
If the defect is covered, we will repair or replace the faulty part.
Explore Glazing is not responsible for costs related to disassembly, reassembly, or transport. These costs are at the customer’s expense.
9. Applicable law
Dutch law applies.
