It synergistically amalgamates a collapsible table and window shield, allowing the secure attachment of expeditionary equipment to your vehicle.

Explicitly designed for Explore Glazing windows, the Overlander Light seamlessly integrates hinges and locks into the window frame. This innovation guarantees no damage to the vehicle’s body from mounting holes, preventing the onset of rust in concealed areas.

Product Features:

• Fabricated from a 5 mm aluminum plate and adorned with the equivalent high-quality industrial black powder coating (RAL 9005) as other Explore Glazing products.
• Detachable and adjustable straps with stainless steel hooks offer flexible opening angles or full folding for maximal access to your vehicle.
• With a minimal mounting height of 16 mm on the window, the Overlander Light avails additional equipment mounting options without compromising rear visibility.
• Equipped with multiple attachment points for lashing straps and airline rails (L-track).
• Features a hole pattern consistent with the design of Explore Glazing window guards, ensuring a uniform and cohesive appearance while allowing ample daylight into your vehicle.

The Explore Overlander can be additionally customized with:

• Airline rails, a unique extrusion profile, provided with the same industrial powder coating as our other products (RAL 9005)

Installation

• Aluminium Plate: This ensures strength and stability.
• Hinges: These are made from zinc die-casting and are black coated, supplemented with stainless steel parts for extra durability.
• Indexing Plungers (Locks): Also made from zinc die-casting, black coated, equipped with stainless steel parts and closing brackets to ensure secure attachment.
• Mounting Straps: These are fitted with stainless steel hooks for reliable mounting.

Required Mounting Set:

To assemble the package, you will need a specific mounting set, consisting of a 4.2 drill, 5.0 drill, M5 tap, and a pin-in torx bit. This mounting set is offered as standard when you request a quote, ensuring you have all the necessary tools to facilitate smooth and efficient installation.
