The Explore Overlander Light is a dual-function accessory designed for the Toyota Land Cruiser Series 60. It combines a protective window guard with a practical fold-down table, mounted directly to the aluminium frame of Explore Glazing gullwing or sliding windows.

No bodywork drilling is required – all attachment points are located on the window frame. When folded down, the Overlander Light provides a stable platform for tools, cooking gear or expedition equipment. When closed, it stays within the window contour and maintains a low profile.

Construction

• 5 mm CNC-cut aluminium panel
• Matte black powder-coated finish (RAL 9005). The industrial-grade coating is UV-stable and resistant to weather-related fading.
• Zinc die-cast hinges and locking plungers with stainless steel components
• Pre-drilled hole pattern aligned with Explore Glazing window guards
• 20 mm slots for securing straps or expedition gear
• Mounting height: only 16 mm – no interference with visibility or door function

Installation

DIY installation kit for mounting directly onto the Explore Glazing window frame. The mounting set includes:

• Ø 4.2 mm drill bit
• Ø 5.0 mm drill bit
• M5 thread tap
• Tamper-resistant Torx bit

The mounting set is not included by default, but is always offered in your quote.

Warning: It is important that Explore Glazing products are assembled correctly and safely. Careless installation can result in accidents and serious damage and/or injury to yourself or others. If you lack technical experience or are unfamiliar with our general assembly guidelines, we recommend having the installation carried out by a professional workshop.
