Suzuki Jimny GJ - window guard sliding window

Developed for the Suzuki Jimny GJ (HJ/GLX 3-door), this aluminium window guard protects the sliding window from external impact and tampering. It is mounted to the outside of the vehicle and fixed directly to the aluminium window frame. The guard does not come into contact with the glass or vehicle bodywork.

The guard offers added protection during travel and when parked, and reduces the risk of damage from branches, theft attempts, or accidental contact. The design also improves safety for pets by preventing them from leaning out through an open window – while still allowing full use of the sliding function for ventilation.

Constructed from 3 mm CNC-cut aluminium, the guard is finished in a matte black powder coating (RAL 9005), identical to the Explore Glazing sliding window. It follows the contour of the frame and does not interfere with doors or exterior trim.

Installation

Mounted to the outer aluminium frame. The window guard is not pre-installed.

Installation requires:

• Ø 4.2 mm drill
• Ø 5.0 mm drill
• M5 thread tap
• Tamper-resistant Torx bit

The mounting kit is not included by default, but is always offered in your quote.
