Mercedes G-Class - window guard - sliding window

The window guard is designed for the Explore Glazing sliding window on the Mercedes G-Class. A perforated 3 mm aluminium plate shields the glass from branches, cargo and vandalism while allowing the sliding panel and lock to operate freely. Because the guard bolts to the window frame—not the bodywork—it can be removed without leaving holes.

Compatibility

Fits the Explore Glazing sliding window (left or right) for Mercedes G-Class W460 / W461 / W463, LWB and SWB.
Not compatible with OEM windows or products from other manufacturers.

Installation

DIY mounting kit for direct attachment to Explore Glazing windows.

Installation requires:

• Ø 4.2 mm drill
• Ø 5.0 mm drill
• M5 thread tap
• Tamper-resistant Torx bit

The mounting kit is not included by default, but is always offered in your quote.
