Mercedes G-klasse - gullwing-raam aluminium

Speciaal ontwikkeld voor de Mercedes G-Klasse, vervangt dit aluminium gullwing-raam de originele zijruit zonder boren of aanpassingen. Montage gebeurt in het originele raamrubber en is volledig omkeerbaar – de originele ruit kan op elk moment worden teruggeplaatst.

Het paneel is CNC-gesneden uit aluminium. Het frame bestaat uit in eigen huis ontwikkelde geëxtrudeerde aluminium profielen. Beide onderdelen zijn afgewerkt met een matte zwarte poedercoating (RAL 9005). Deze industriële coating is UV-bestendig en ongevoelig voor verkleuring.

Twee afsluitbare compressiesloten en gasveren zorgen voor een stevige en gecontroleerde bediening. Het raam wordt compleet voorgemonteerd geleverd en is beschikbaar voor de linker- of rechterzijde.

Compatibiliteit

Geschikt voor:

  • Mercedes G-Klasse LWB (5-deurs): W460, W461, W463

  • Mercedes G-Klasse SWB (3-deurs): W460, W461, W463

Niet compatibel met W463A-modellen (vanaf 2018, te herkennen aan verlijmde zijruiten in plaats van rubbermontage).

  • Snelle toegang vanaf de zijkant dankzij het gullwing-mechanisme
  • Met gasveren en compressiesloten voor stevige en soepele werking
  • Omkeerbare montage – geen boren nodig
  • Compleet voorgemonteerd – kies voor links of rechts

  • Mat zwart gepoedercoat (RAL 9005). De industriële coating is UV-bestendig en ongevoelig voor verkleuring
  • 2 × afsluitbare compressiesloten (gelijksluitend)
  • 2 × gasveren

Afmetingen

  • Afmetingen komen exact overeen met de originele zijruit
  • Geen aanpassingen aan de carrosserie nodig

Inbouw

Het raam wordt geplaatst in het originele rubber van de Mercedes G-Klasse – geen schroeven of montagekit vereist.

Let op: het is belangrijk dat Explore Glazing producten op de juiste en veilige manier worden gemonteerd. Onzorgvuldige installatie kan leiden tot schade of letsel. Hello Explore Glazing, After years of restoring, the time had come this summer. Our Land Cruiser HJ61 Build is Road ready, and we were able to test our setup for the first time. Of course your Gullwings were there...we had just one opinion…of all the upgrades our vehicle has received, your windows are among our favorites. They give us quick and easy access to our luggage compartment. At the same time, we've come to appreciate the Overland Package. There's always a place to park things, which is unbeatable given the limited options in a camping situation. I’ve been running the Jimny Gullwing for a few years now and I’m still delighted with the fit and finish. I live near the coast with salty air that often takes its toll on metals. This Gullwing still looks like new, operates flawlessly. I opted for the drop table additional accessory and it’s something I use even more than the Gullwing window. At camp it makes for a super useful shelf and on the go it’s the perfect platform for a side-of-the-road coffee. 5* product and customer service to match. Cheers from the UK

I recently purchased a 2011 G550 with the gull wing windows and window guards installed. (There are photos of the vehicle on the website) I was in need of replacement spring latches as the terrible salt used on Montana roads had corroded the existing latches. I emailed Explore Glazing for help. My request was answered by Anja Seijn. She was very helpful and arranged getting the needed parts to me in Montana. The parts arrived yesterday via FedEx. My experience dealing with Explore Glazing was very positive. I am confident that should I have the need for parts or accessories in the future, Explore Glazing will be my first choice.
