La fenêtre gullwing de custode offre un remplacement sans faille pour la vitre de custode d'origine de votre Land Rover Defender.

Installation

Général

Les dimensions de la fenêtre correspondent parfaitement à la vitre de custode d'origine de votre Land Rover Defender. Aucune modification de la carrosserie n'est nécessaire, ce qui signifie que la fenêtre d'origine peut être facilement remplacée. Facile et rapide à assembler.

La fenêtre de custode est montée avec des vis de fixation en acier inoxydable M4*16 et scellée avec de l'adhésif.

Moyennant un coût supplémentaire, les vis de fixation en acier inoxydable peuvent être fournies avec un revêtement en poudre noire. Cette option vous sera proposée par défaut.

Un kit de montage vous sera proposé avec votre demande et comprend :

  • foret de 4,2 mm
  • cartouche de Dowsil 791 Silicone Weatherproofing
  • brosse
  • caoutchouc pour enlever l'excès de mastic

Il est important que les produits Explore Glazing soient assemblés correctement et en toute sécurité. Un assemblage négligent peut entraîner des accidents et des dommages graves et/ou des blessures pour vous ou pour autrui. Si vous n'avez pas d'expérience technique ou si vous ne connaissez pas les instructions générales d'assemblage, nous vous recommandons de faire assembler nos produits par une entreprise professionnelle.

Hello Explore Glazing, After years of restoring, the time had come this summer. Our Land Cruiser HJ61 Build is Road ready, and we were able to test our setup for the first time. Of course your Gullwings were there...we had just one opinion…of all the upgrades our vehicle has received, your windows are among our favorites. They give us quick and easy access to our luggage compartment. At the same time, we've come to appreciate the Overland Package. There's always a place to park things, which is unbeatable given the limited options in a camping situation. Your windows are airtight and don't let any water into the interior, the workmanship is top-notch, and they look absolutely stunning. Thank you Explore Glazing, you live in our hearts. Regards, ron

I’ve been running the Jimny Gullwing for a few years now and I’m still delighted with the fit and finish. I live near the coast with salty air that often takes its toll on metals. This Gullwing still looks like new, operates flawlessly. I opted for the drop table additional accessory and it’s something I use even more than the Gullwing window. At camp it makes for a super useful shelf and on the go it’s the perfect platform for a side-of-the-road coffee. 5* product and customer service to match. Cheers from the UK

I recently purchased a 2011 G550 with the gull wing windows and window guards installed. (There are photos of the vehicle on the website) I was in need of replacement spring latches as the terrible salt used on Montana roads had corroded the existing latches. I emailed Explore Glazing for help. My request was answered by Anja Seijn. She was very helpful and arranged getting the needed parts to me in Montana. The parts arrived yesterday via FedEx. My experience dealing with Explore Glazing was very positive. I am confident that should I have the need for parts or accessories in the future, Explore Glazing will be my first choice.
