Jeep Cherokee XJ - Fensterschut - Schiebefenster

Der Fensterschutz ist speziell für das Explore Glazing Schiebefenster des Jeep Cherokee XJ entwickelt. Er wird direkt auf dem Aluminiumrahmen des Fensters montiert und schützt das Glas, ohne die Funktion des Schiebemechanismus zu beeinträchtigen. Das Fenster kann weiterhin problemlos geöffnet und geschlossen werden, während der Schutz die Fensterfläche gegen äußere Einwirkungen verstärkt.

Der Schutz besteht aus 3 mm Aluminium und ist mit einer industriellen, mattschwarzen Pulverbeschichtung (RAL 9005) versehen, passend zum Design und zur Oberfläche des Schiebefensters.

Konstruktion

Der Fensterschutz wird CNC-gefertigt aus einer 3 mm starken Aluminiumplatte und mit einer industriellen mattschwarzen Pulverbeschichtung (RAL 9005) versehen. Die Montage erfolgt direkt auf dem Fensterrahmen, ohne Änderungen an der Karosserie.

Abmessungen

Entspricht exakt den Abmessungen des Explore Glazing Schiebefensterrahmens.

Einbau

Der Fensterschutz wird direkt am Aluminiumrahmen des Schiebefensters befestigt, mit den mitgelieferten M5×12 mm Torx-Sicherheitsschrauben aus Edelstahl (Pin-in Typ). Dadurch ist eine sichere Montage gewährleistet und eine Demontage von außen ohne Spezialwerkzeug nicht möglich.

Für die Montage werden folgende Werkzeuge benötigt:

  • Ø 4,2 mm Bohrer
  • Ø 5,0 mm Bohrer
  • M5-Gewindebohrer
  • Tamper-resistant Torx Bit

Hello Explore Glazing, After years of restoring, the time had come this summer. Our Land Cruiser HJ61 Build is Road ready, and we were able to test our setup for the first time. Of course your Gullwings were there...we had just one opinion…of all the upgrades our vehicle has received, your windows are among our favorites. They give us quick and easy access to our luggage compartment. At the same time, we've come to appreciate the Overland Package. There's always a place to park things, which is unbeatable given the limited options in a camping situation. I’ve been running the Jimny Gullwing for a few years now and I’m still delighted with the fit and finish. I live near the coast with salty air that often takes its toll on metals. This Gullwing still looks like new, operates flawlessly. I opted for the drop table additional accessory and it’s something I use even more than the Gullwing window. At camp it makes for a super useful shelf and on the go it’s the perfect platform for a side-of-the-road coffee. 5* product and customer service to match. Cheers from the UK

I recently purchased a 2011 G550 with the gull wing windows and window guards installed. (There are photos of the vehicle on the website) I was in need of replacement spring latches as the terrible salt used on Montana roads had corroded the existing latches. I emailed Explore Glazing for help. My request was answered by Anja Seijn. She was very helpful and arranged getting the needed parts to me in Montana. The parts arrived yesterday via FedEx. My experience dealing with Explore Glazing was very positive. I am confident that should I have the need for parts or accessories in the future, Explore Glazing will be my first choice.
